When it comes to babies, we deliver!
Complete care at STRMC’s Maternal & Newborn Center
The Maternal & Newborn Center has been delivering babies for more than 50 years. Our compassionate, caring staff and qualified doctors combine the use of advanced technology and medical experience that rivals any metropolitan area hospitals. The difference in our Maternal & Newborn Center is the personalized care we provide to every patient. Our patients receive one-on-one individualized patient care from admission to discharge.
The center features two labor/delivery/recovery suites and four postpartum rooms for the comfort and care of the mother, infant and family. An operating room is located within the center, so mom never has to be moved out of the center. The private patient rooms provide a homelike, family-centered setting. We promote positive family beginnings by allowing mother and baby to room together or to use the newborn nursery. Because safety is a priority, a lockdown system is in place. The center has modern medical equipment and fetal monitors that record the baby’s heartbeat and the mother’s contractions.
