JOURDANTON, TX — South Texas Regional Medical Center (STRMC) is pleased to announce the addition of Danielle Marie Flores, Director of Marketing, to their facility.

Flores comes to STRMC from Laredo, Texas, where she was employed for the past two years as the Media and Communications Specialist and Director of Healthy Woman at the Laredo Medical Center (LMC). During her employment at LMC, Flores served the Laredo community as a Board Member for March of Dimes and the Laredo Center of Arts. She was also an active member of the Texas A&M International Alumni Association, where she served as Marketing Chair for AutMus Fest, the Alumni Association's annual scholarship fundraiser.

While at the Laredo Medical Center, Flores was responsible for securing over $28 thousand dollars in employee donations for the March of Dimes' 2007 WalkAmerica. She also worked closely with the American Cancer Society and the American Heart Association to fundraise and spread educational awareness to the community about the diseases.

Flores holds a Master of Business Administration with a specialization in International Business, and a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Marketing from Texas A&M International University in Laredo. She has also garnered a Texas Educator's Certification in the areas of Business Education for grades 6-12.

Flores joins the Atascosa community along with her family, husband Jorge and 8 year old son, Alec. She says, "I am positively thrilled to be a part of South Texas Regional Medical Center's team of professionals. I understand that all communities, large or small, have a vital need for convenient access to compassionate and quality-driven healthcare. Knowing that my work at STRMC will contribute to the continued realization of that availability for healthcare is very fulfilling."
