Sharing Italy with Atascosa County
(Jourdanton, TX)—The South Texas Regional Chapter of Senior Circle arrived from their first trip to Italy with breathtaking photos and memories! Their journey began in Rome with visits to the Vatican Museum, St. Peter’s Basilica, Piazza Venezia and the famous Trevi Fountain to name a few. They also toured the cities of Venice, Assisi, San Marino, Como, Milan, Florence, San Gimignano, Siena and Perugia.
The 9 Night / 10 Day Reflections of Italy tour departed March 24, 2009. The most scenic highlights of the tour included a visit to the world-famous Academy Gallery to see Michelangelo’s incredible Statue of David and the Tuscan countryside with access to the vineyards and olive plantations.
