Crafting with Care—South Texas Regional’s Senior Circle Group
(April 6, 2009) Pleasanton, TX—South Texas Regional Medical Center’s Senior Circle has begun a new activity called, Caring Crafters. On March 12, 2009, a group of 25 members belonging to South Texas Regional Medical Center's Senior Circle Chapter, made 150 "Booboo Bunnies" for Easter baskets that will go to hospice patients.
Mary Diehl, Manager of Volunteer Services with VistaCare led the creative event in an effort to comfort and bring joy to those in hospice care. The next SC Caring Crafter's activity will take place April 11th at 1:30 p.m. Plans are underway to incorporate two Caring Crafter classes per month beginning in May.
