Atascosa County’s largest fundraising event for the American Cancer Society is the annual Relay for Life. This year’s Relay for Life event will be held at the Jourdanton Football Stadium on Saturday April 18-19th, where hundreds will gather to commemorate and fundraise for this worthy cause. 

Amongst the many teams of cancer survivors and supporters will be South Texas Regional Medical Center’s Scrub Crusaders. This year, STR’s Scrub Crusaders are donating $2,500 dollars to the event.

South Texas Regional Medical Center supports the Relay for Life event and their concerted efforts to help local citizens win the battle against cancer.
