Healthy Woman’s “Matters of the Heart” Health Seminar

Pleasanton, TX— Listen ladies, it’s time for a seriously fun heart-to-heart! Join us for the February Healthy Woman health seminar commemorating National Heart Health Month titled, “Matters of the Heart.”

The event is absolutely free and open to women throughout the community. Even if you are not yet a member, you are invited to attend.

William (Bill) Rodis, local attorney and STR heart attack survivor will recount his personal experience when confronted with a heart attack. His true account of survival and rehabilitation are   inspirational! His message of awareness and practical advice may just save the life of someone you love in the future.

After, members will enjoy the American Heart Association’s 2009 Go Red for Women Presentation, delivered by none other than local favorite, Dr. Chun Wang Tan, cardiologist from South Texas Heart Clinic in Jourdanton. Members and associates of his practice such as Dr. Chad Christopherson, interventional cardiologist; and Carloyn Dowd, PA-C; will also be in attendance to answer questions.

Free blood pressure checks will be offered before the speaking portion of the event begins. This month’s event is an opportunity for everyone in attendance to get checked and check out—the free cardiac resources right in your own community.
