Dr. Walter Chesshir Opens New Family Practice in Pleasanton

                                                                January 15, 2009– South Texas Regional Medical Center (STRMC) together with Dr. Walter Chesshir, announce the opening of Atascosa County’s newest family practice—Lone Star Medicine.

The newly renovated 2,030 sq. ft. practice is a spacious and attractive contemporary building. Located at 110 Preston Street in Pleasanton, Lone Star Medicine is close to both retail and residential neighborhoods.

Dr. Chesshir and his staff are now accepting new patients in an addition to his existing patients base from his former practice in Devine, Texas. The medical service offerings include: immunizations, laboratory services, minor skin emergencies, EKGs and physicals for work, sports or insurance.

Lone Star Medicine’s service hours are:

Monday, 8am-5pm

Tuesday, 8am-6:30pm

Wednesday, 12pm- 6:30pm

Thursday, 8am- 5pm

Friday, 8am- 5pm

Extended hours Tuesday and Wednesday until 6:30pm to better serve the working community.
