Out of This World Support! Cosmic Creations Steps Up As Platinum Partner

(Jourdanton, TX—October 6, 2009) - Cosmic Creations Floral Designs pledged its universal support for the wellbeing of our local women by becoming a Platinum Partner for the 2009-2010 Healthy Woman Program. The program’s mission is to empower women with the knowledge and confidence to make informed healthcare and well-being decisions for themselves and their loved ones. Healthy Woman aims to make life healthy, balanced and fun! Jody Smith, owner of Cosmic Creations Floral Designs, believes this is her life’s mission too!

Smith says, “I am thrilled to be a supporter of STRMC’s Health Woman Program. They have proven to be a consistent leader in women’s health education and enrich the lives of our community through their monthly seminars.”

Smith most recently devoted her time and expertise to the program by providing an evening workshop to 60 Healthy Woman members on September 30th. Smith performed live demonstrations where she created floral centerpieces, wreaths and other holiday decorations. She taught the audience how to create simple, yet beautiful holiday décor in minutes! She used no glue or specialty products on any of her designs. Members loved the opportunity to learn how to recreate similar pieces in their own home at a fraction of the cost. 

The event extremely well received by the audience. Members have requested that Jody Smith return in Spring time to provide a new demonstration with seasonal flair. She has accepted the invitation and says, “I look forward to coming again to share the evening with this group of warm and fun women.”
