M. Alejandra Moreno, M.D. 

(Jourdanton, Texas) South Texas Regional Medical Center (STRMC) is proud to welcome M. Alejandra Moreno, M.D., specialist in pediatrics to their medical staff. 

Dr. Moreno received her Doctorate of Medicine from the Nueva Granada University in Bogotá D.C., Colombia. After, she completed her residency at Driscoll Children’s Hospital in Corpus Christi, TX, and is trained in Epidemiology.

She will join the practice of Dr. Lana Morgan at Suite 120 of the Steinle Medical Building at South Texas Regional Medical Center in Jourdanton. Drs. Morgan and Moreno’s hours of service are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. to provide quality healthcare for their patients.

Dr. Moreno explains her philosophy about patient care by saying, “A good pediatrician is not only knowledgeable, but also caring, warm and compassionate with a deep commitment to the health and well-being of children.”

She looks forward to providing health presentations both in English and Spanish and educating the community on pediatric topics as well as: safety and injury prevention; asthma; allergies; fever; tonsillitis; healthy weight and physical activity; and breastfeeding.

Dr. Moreno goes on to say, “I really like the friendly community, and I am glad to be here.  The medical community is strong and the hospital is committed to the expansion of medical services.”
