(April 4, 2008) Jourdanton, Texas— The prospect of global travel opportunities through Senior Circle always sounded rather enticing. We decided to try our hand at Eastern travel when the Beijing trip surfaced. Now that we have returned, we'd like to share our experience for those still "on-the-fence" about such travel opportunities.
We decided to participate in this particular trip to China because it offered an opportunity for major group travel with fellow community members. We are glad to report that the trip was very affordable with no hidden or surprise expenses. The initial promotion was factual, professional and thorough. The cultural experience was promising and the destinations very interesting!
A key part of the decision to book the Beijing trip was due to our prior experience with Jacque Stacy, Director of Senior Circle. Her ability to deliver well planned travel packages and successfully manage even the most detail oriented pieces of our travel plans is amazing! She carries a wonderful energy with her is able to create a positive pulse for all activities and travel excursions. Best of all, she adds comfort and familiarity to unfamiliar environments.
We found the trip to be well organized and safe. Airport flights and land connections were timely and with minimal inconvenience or stress for travelers. The hotel accommodations were very high quality, and centralized. This allowed us to avoid the hassle of repacking every few days when moving locations. In addition; each member's personal and/or special needs were promptly taken care of throughout the trip.
Both land travel and foot tours were at a pace that everyone found comfortable, which meant that everyone in our group participated. The lecturer and tour guides were friendly and knowledgeable. They managed to create a prolonged
sense of safety and belonging, even in an environment so different from our personal culture.
We would encourage our fellow neighbors to get a Senior Circle membership. It only costs $15 dollars annually! Do it not just because of the discounts and travel, but because Senior Circle becomes a part of your family.
