Six year Senior Circle Member "Favors" STRMC for healthcare

When asked of me, "Why do you seek the services of STRMC?" I plainly respond, "Mostly for help with my bronchitis. I have told all my sons that I want to come to South Texas Regional instead of ever going to San Antonio. Personally, I am all for the home town doctors, and I'm very pleased with them and the services that they have provided to me."

The perception of smaller towns not having adequate medical care is just not true in Atascosa County. I have been a patient at STRMC before, and the personal care that I receive here is unique to any other hospital. I have always been very satisfied with my care, and I have never had any fear at all. In fact, I look forward to the care I have received from Drs. Armando Villarreal, Chun Wang Tan, Ric Montemayor and Nasir Syed.

A hospital visit includes more than just clinical care and service too. I'd personally like to thank Betty Calk (25 year employee of STRMC) for her care and helpfulness through the admission process, Sylvia Kellum from the Medical/Surgical Department and Lucy Yanas in Case Management.
