A Time for Giving
Jourdanton, TX—South Texas Regional Medical Center’s (STRMC) employees and volunteers have embraced the spirit of giving this holiday season. Every Friday, staff members collect money or gifts for a variety of local programs who are dedicated to delivering Christmas gifts to children in need.
Thanksgiving has not yet come to pass, but the STRMC family has already donated more than 120 toys to the cause.
The team is still working diligently to amass more gifts before December 14th. Local hospital volunteer, Dorothy Mathews generously donated over 80 gifts that she and her daughter, Terri Kellerman, ninth grade teacher at Jourdanton High School, purchased throughout the year.
